Strawberry French Toast
Recipe Yield: Makes 4 servings
What You'll Need
- 4 1-1/2" thick slices bread
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- powdered sugar, garnish
- Pearl Milling Company™ Syrup
What You'll Do
- Cut each bread slice in half. Using a serrated knife, create a pocket by cutting into open edge of each slice. Fill with strawberries.
- Combine remaining ingredients. Quickly dip (do not soak) slices in egg mixture. Cook on hot buttered or oiled griddle until golden on both sides.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with warm Pearl Milling Company™ Syrup.
