Pronto Pups aka Pancake Dogs
Recipe Yield: 8 Pancake Dogs
What You'll Need
- Pancake Dogs:
- 8 breakfast sausage links, cooked
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup Pearl Milling Company™ Original pancake mix
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- Toppings:
- Pearl Milling Company™ Syrup (as needed)
- Powdered sugar (as needed)
- Bacon, cooked, crumbled
What You'll Do
- Cook breakfast sausage links thoroughly. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Mix together egg, milk, Pearl Milling Company™ Original pancake mix and melted butter. Allow to rest for about 2 mins.
- Preheat corndog maker/iron. Spray iron with pan spray.
- Transfer batter to a tall glass. Spoon a small amount of batter (1 tbls) into one of the molds.
- Skewer one breakfast sausage and dip into batter. Place dipped sausage onto the mold with the spooned batter. Repeat until all molds are full.
- Close lid and allow to cook until golden brown.
- Remove from the iron and drizzle with Pearl Milling Company™ syrup, powdered sugar and a sprinkle of bacon. Serve immediately.
