Pancakes with Cranberry Orange Syrup

What You'll Need

  • Syrup:
  • 10 ounces frozen cranbery-orange relish
  • 1 cup Pearl Milling Company™ Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • Pancakes:
  • 1-1/2 cups Pearl Milling Company™ Corn Meal
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • pecan halves

What You'll Do

  • Syrup:
  • Place cranberry relish, syrup and butter in saucepan. Heat; stir to melt cranberries; keep warm.
  • Pancakes:
  • Combine corn meal mix and sugar. Add milk, egg and oil. Bake on hot, lightly greased griddle (375° F.) until golden brown, turning only once.
  • Serve warm with syrup. Garnish with pecan halves.
