Chocolate Brownie Waffles
Recipe Yield: Twelve 4" waffles
What You'll Need
- 2 cups Pearl Milling Company™ Complete or Buttermilk Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix
- 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 2 Tbsp. granulated suga
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
What You'll Do
- Heat waffle iron. Spray with nonfat cooking spray.
- Combine pancake mix, cocoa and sugar in large bowl. Stir in water and oil with wire whisk just until large lumps disappear.
- Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips just until incorporated. Let batter rest 5 minutes.
- Pour desired amount of batter into well greased waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops.

Combine 2 cups Pearl Mill Company™ Original or Buttermilk Original Pancake & Waffle Mix, 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa and 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar in a large bowl. Set aside. Combine 1-1/2 cups milk, 2 eggs and 1/3 cup vegetable oil in medium bowl using wire whisk; add to dry ingredients. Mix just until large lumps disappear. Stir in 1/3 cups chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup chocolate pieces just until incorporated. Proceed as recipe directs.
